生物活性

Incensole acetate是卡氏乳香树脂的主要成分，对创伤性和缺血性颅脑损伤中的神经元损伤具有神经保护作用。Incensole acetate 减少了 hOBNSC 中由 Aβ 25-35 触发的细胞凋亡(apoptosis)。

体外研究

Incensole acetate (100 μM; pre-treatment 4 hours) significantly ameliorates Aβ 25–35-induced cell death, a 48–52% decrease in cell viability at Aβ25–35 is restored to 85–89% upon pre-treatment with IA. Incensole acetate (5-100 μM) pretreatment reverses increase in the mRNA and protein level of Bax, caspase 8, cyto c and decrease in the mRNA and protein level of Bcl2 induced by Aβ 25–35 in hOBNSCs.
