用途
二对甲基苯甲酰酒石酸是一种白色结晶粉末，在空气中易吸水，可溶于乙醇和甲醇等有机溶剂。广泛用于手性拆分胺类化合物。并因其价格低廉、性质稳定，且易于回收利用而具有很好的工业应用价值。
制备
取L-酒石酸150g、甲苯200ml置于1000ml三口瓶，搅拌下加入1.5g硫酸铜，开始滴加对甲基苯甲酰氯330g，3小时滴完，继续反应6小时，放料至离心机，甩滤得L-对甲基二苯甲酰酒石酸酐497.3g，将之投入2000ml三口瓶，加水与甲苯各497.3g，升温至回流，保持5小时，降温至常温放料，甩滤得二对甲基苯甲酰酒石酸76.7g。
