白色结晶性粉末,极易吸湿,微氨臭,极咸。Mp149-152℃。10%的水溶液pH值约为5,在热水和碱性溶液易分解。本品易溶于水、乙醇和丙二醇,溶于氯仿和醋酸,不溶于乙醚。低毒,LD50(大鼠,经口)2500 mg/kg。
用途
用作测定乙酰胆碱酯酶的底物;临床作为胆碱能药物。
生产方法
以氯乙醇和三甲胺水溶液为起始原料反应,再经乙酸酐酰化,最后精制而成。
