祛痰药
杜鹃素是从满山红及其他杜鹃属植物中提取的一种具有祛痰功效药物，现已人工合成，直接作用于呼吸道黏膜，促进纤毛运动，增强气管、支气管机械清除异物的功能，可使痰内酸性糖蛋白纤维断裂，唾液酸含量下降，使痰粘度下降，痰液变稀，易于咳出，同时使痰量逐渐减少。对慢性气管炎病人的祛痰效果确切，疗效持久、稳定，使痰液量明显减少，黏稠度降低，症状减少。临床主要用于慢性支气管炎所致的痰多粘稠等。其片剂每片50～100mg。口服1日3次，1次50～100mg。有肝病史及肝功能不全者慎用。
