化学性质 

甲基肼的硫酸盐。甲基肼为澄明液体，沸点 87.5℃，呈强还原性，与强氧化剂接触易燃烧，闪点 70℃，对皮肤及黏膜有强刺激性，并显示很强的生理毒性；甲基肼硫酸盐为白色片状结晶，熔点 141-142℃，使用比较安全。

用途 

甲基苄肼（异丙胺酰苄肼）的中间体。甲基肼为火箭燃料。

生产方法 

用肼与苯甲醛缩合，生成苄叉连氮，后都与硫酸二甲酯在苯中回流反应得到该品。
