生产方法 

由苯胺与亚硝酸钠重氮化，再与二甲苯胺偶合而得。将苯胺慢慢加入有碎冰的浓盐酸中，在0-5℃加亚硝酸钠溶液进行重氮化反应。再将二甲苯胺加入重氮盐中，控制温度在5℃以下，边搅拌边加入工业乙酸钠，搅拌3h后再加少量乙酸钠，过滤出黄色沉淀即得粗品。干燥后用甲苯重结晶，再用乙醇重结晶即得成品二甲基黄。
