体外研究
Oxacillin exhibits MIC values of ≤1 μg/mL for four mecA gene-carrying S. aureus clinical isolates (SA 1306, SA 1326, SA 1552, and SA 4666.
Oxacillin (5 μg/mL, 0-90 min) induces lysis of Tol + and Tol - strains.
Cell Viability Assay
Cell Line: Cells of S. aureus which had grown for six to eight generations in [ 14 C]glycerol.
Concentration: 5 μg/mL.
Incubation Time: 0, 30, 60, 90 min.
Result: The Tol + isolates were readily distinguished from Tol- isolates by the rates at which the cells lysed.

化学性质
白色结晶性粉末。熔点188℃（分解），易溶于水、甲醇、二甲基亚砜，微溶于水乙醇、氯仿，极微溶于丙酮、丁醇，不溶于乙醚、苯。
用途
半合成的耐酸耐酶青霉素。临床主要用于耐药金葡菌感染，如败血症、肺炎、化脓性脑膜炎和骨髓炎等。
生产方法
6-氨基青霉烷酸与苯甲异噁唑酰氯缩合、成盐而得。
